Jo Haylen, Member for Summer Hill, moves that this House:

1. Notes that consumers choose to purchase free-range eggs because they value and care about animal welfare.
2. Acknowledges that eggs are often labelled as 'free-range', when in fact they are raised in conditions far from consumer's expectations, despite costing more.
3. Calls on the Government to work with other states and territories to set national standards that meet consumer's standards for animal welfare and to support CHOICE's "Do you give a cluck?" campaign.
