For so many in the Inner West community throughout the Delta outbreak, the Bill Crews Exodus Foundation has been a source of support, sustenance and hope. In addition to serving countless people through the Loaves and Fishes Restaurant in Ashfield, The Reverend Bill Crews and his extraordinary team have teamed up with Aspen Medical to help vaccinate vulnerable people across the Inner West. The Foundation has run pop-up vaccination clinics at the Addison Road Community Centre, Marrickville West Primary School, and the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre. Regular vaccination clinics are being held every Tuesday. Other clinics have also been offered outside the Summer Hill electorate, including in Liverpool, Woolloomooloo and Miller, showing the extraordinary reach of this Inner West institution. I send my warmest thanks to the Reverend Bill Crews, Aspen Medical, and all the staff and volunteers working with the Exodus Foundation. The extraordinary response of local organisations like yours has been essential to ensuring that vulnerable people are able to access vaccinations and protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19.
