Happy birthday to the Concordia Club of Tempe celebrating the 140th anniversary of its establishment in 2023. Concordia Club is a hub for German Australians and provides a much-needed sense of home and community for anyone who visits. Originally located in Stanmore the Club moved to their current premises in Tempe twenty years ago. Famous for their delicious pork-knuckle the menu covers a wide range of German cuisine and many imported beers. The Summer Hill electorate is home to many cultures with almost 40 per cent of people being born overseas. Places like the Concordia Club are vital to maintaining links to culture and heritage from around the world. They provide an opportunity to share and celebrate culture with young and old. The Club is bringing back its very popular Oktoberfest celebrations on Sundays in October this year so make sure you don't miss out on this great event.
